Yeratta Creek

Yeratta is located 8 Kilometers away from Rangat. It has abundant mangrove life. The harbour of Rangat is in Yerrata and is known as the Yerrata Jetty. It is a great spot to observe and study a diverse variety of mangroves. As an initiative towards creating awareness among the general public and tourists about mangroves, department of Environment and Forests has established a Mangrove Interpretation Centre which has attractive display panels depicting various species of mangroves found in these islands.

Ambkunj Beach

The Amkunj beach is located at the Nimbutala village at a distance of 8kms from Rangat. The beach is equally beautiful and scenic just like any other beach in Andaman. There are many eco-friendly sofa-like sit-outs, some eco huts for providing shade and small round tables erected by the beachside which makes it a good place to sit and unwind on a bright sunny day. One can opt to swim here and soak in the warm sun for a lot of Vitamin D and much more peace of mind.
